Dear Friend,
MSW stands for Master of Social Work.
I am sorry to say but it will not help you in becoming IAS Officer.
IAS officers along with 26 other civil services officers are recruited through a civil services examination conducted by UPSC every year.
It has mainly two stages:
1. Prelims (General studies + CSAT)
2. Mains (written + interview)
Your performance in Prelims will ensure your eligibility for Mains Examination and then your score in the Mains examination will only decide your final score and thus your rank.
This examination is considered as the toughest in our country. So, you need to be determined, consistent at studies and plan your preparation well.
