Whiteboards, I remember using them when I was a little kid. I actually used them because I got in trouble for using paint on the walls―ooops. I didn’t mean to make a mosaic out of the wall! I have continued my love of whiteboards to my career. When I was in college, I would always use white boards! Using whiteboards has lots of benefits. Here are 5 reasons you should start using a whiteboard.

1. You can erase things
Unlike a standard pen and paper, you can erase things that are on a white board. This helps you save paper, and also lets you correct mistakes that you might make. If you work a lot with numbers, this is a great things to have.
2. You learn while you write
One thing that I love about whiteboards is that you get to write things down. This a way of studying that you may not even realize. If you are trying to memorize something, you can write it in many ways and also erase it. This means that you can write it again and again. This will help you remember for the test.
3. You can write words or draw pictures
Depending on how you learn, you can either draw pictures (if you are a visual learner) or words (which means that you are more a spacial learner). I have found that if I am trying to remember stories or something, I can draw out a picture, it helps me for tests, especially if I can see the story unfolding in front of me.
4. You can see the big picture
With whiteboards, you are able to see the big picture. When you are writing notes, you will be able to see everything at the same time―which will help you figure out why you are learning concepts in the first place.
5. People can help you
Whiteboards can be shared between people. Others can write on the board and contribute ideas.
I love whiteboards. These are just a few reasons why I think whiteboards are great. As a professional, I even use them today. They are a great way for people to see your ideas―it also is a much less threatening way to introduce and throw around ideas. You should start using a whiteboard. It doesn’t matter how old you are, where you are in school, or what you do―whiteboards can benefit everyone.
